Get a great sound in a large room with this universal sound bar. I installed this one on the top back of a ceiling hung Vizio VF550M 55"tv. The tv is in the corner of my double car garage and is hung by a ceiling bracket. The bracket that attaches to the back of the tv is square and the sound bar lays on top of it-no attachment needed! Very easy to install. I have another Vizio VF550M in the living room that ia hung over the fireplace, and I plan to order another sound bar for it and attach to the wall.

I strongly recommend the Vizio Soundbar toanyone looking to revolutionize their home entertainment sound system. Installation was a breeze, the sound is rich and far surpasses the television sound. The remote sucks but other than that, the soundbar is a phenomonal sound system. I own the Bose Cinemate surround system and Vizio Soundbar surpasses the Bose. I love the wireless subwoofer, I love the sleek look, bottomline... I love the product!

I was looking for a nice sound upgrade but did not want to get a 5.1 system as i had to run wires around the room; secondly my place is quiet small and comfy so 5.1 would really not make sense. this one fits my pocket/requirements...



1. very simple to setup and connect. wireless sub-woofer is definitely a add-on.

2. watched blue-ray movies on PS3 and happy with the sound. it cant beat 5.1 but i'm happy with this one.

3. Playing games on PS3 sounded more realistic than from the tv speakers.



Note: If you are connecting to your PS3; you may experience sound issues while playing dvd's. just make sure your PS3 settings and play around with the settings. i had to disable all options under optical settings (dts/digital dolby).
